Product Setup
Product Management → Product Setup → Product List
The Product List screen is where you can create, manage, and organize food products that will be shown in the customer app. It comes with many customizable options and tools for managing your products effectively.
To add a new product, click on Add Product and fill in the following fields:
Basic Information
- Product Name
- Product Image
- Description
Categorization
- Menu (choose the main category)
- Submenu (choose from active submenus)
- Item Type (e.g., Vegetarian, Vegan)
- Item Tags (e.g., Spicy, Popular, Gluten-Free, etc.)
- Food Type (Halal or Organic)
Product Specifications
- Nutrients
- Spice Level
- Type of Rice
- Ingredients
Pricing & Discount
- Default Price
- Discount Type (flat or percentage)
- Discount Value
- Tax Type
- Tax Value
Additional Settings
- Addons – You can map step-by-step add-ons available for this product.
- Addon Cost – You can map multiple add-ons which were created earlier to this product.
- Cuisine – You can map multiple Cuisines which were created earlier to this product.
- Select Add-ons (attach pre-created add-ons to the product)
- Select Cuisine (attach pre-created Cuisines to the product)
- Stock Information (the available quantity or stock status), there are 3 types:
- Unlimited: Allows an infinite number of stocks with no quantity limit.
- Fixed: If the stock quantity is set to 10, only 10 items can be sold — after that the product will be marked as out of stock.
- Daily: Automatically refreshes the stock quantity every day.
- Status (whether the product should be shown or hidden in the app)
- Recommended Status (to feature the product as a Special in customer app)
- Search Tags (keywords for easier search in the app)
Variant Settings
- Add Variants (e.g., sizes or types)
- Variant Name (e.g., Size)
- Type – Choose Single Selection or Multi Selection for the customer to choose options.
Product Variants:
- Click Add New Variation.
- You’ll see fields for Variant Name, Selection Type (Multi or Single), Min and Max Selection & Required checkbox , and a Delete button. Below these, you’ll find fields for Option Name and Additional Cost, along with an Add Option button.
- Variant Name: The name entered here will appear as the variant name for the product. (e.g. Sauces)
- Selection Type:
- Multi: Allows users to select multiple options. You must specify the minimum and maximum number of options to be selected.
- Single: Limits users to one option.
- Required Checkbox: When enabled, users must select at least one option from this variant to add the item to the cart. A Default checkbox will also appear beside each option. If selected, that option’s price will be the same as the base item price.
- Option Name: Enter the name of each variant option (e.g., tomato sauce, Mint Sauce, etc.).
- Additional Cost: After entering the option name, specify any extra cost for that option. If the Default checkbox is selected, this field will disappear; otherwise, the entered amount will be added to the option price.
- Add Option: Click this button to add more options with corresponding additional cost fields.
Note:
- You can add multiple variants using the “Add New Variation” button.
- If the discount Type is Percentage, the entered discount value will automatically apply to all variant options.
- If the discount Type is Fixed Amount, the discount will not be applied to the variant options.
Product List Features
- Each product has the following actions:
- Status Active/Inactive – Only active products will visible on customer app
- Edit – Make changes to the product details
- Delete – Remove the product from the system
- Import / Export Options
- Import – Upload multiple products at once using a file.
- Export – Download the list of products as a file for backup or editing.
The list of all products are reflected in the customer application on the respective menu.
